Disclaimer: I typically master to -14LUFS. I have no way of attenuating audio on the site so some tracks e.g. demos may be quiet whereas finalised tracks will be LOUD in comparison. Soundcloud tracks also have low quality artifacts however that's just from the embedding, the tracks sound fine when played on Soundcloud.

Selected Tracks

This track originally started life as a single riff (the chorus) way back in 2017. I put the track on hold because I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to take it. I recently overhauled the whole thing and it came out great. Lots of Periphery inspiration in this track!

Planar was the first 'real' song I recorded, mixed and mastered. This track really helped to shape my music production and mixing skills which have since come a long way.

I composed this track with the intention of using it in a game at some point in time. It was used as the main song for a rhythm-based boss battle game I created for a project in university.

Song 1 was one of the first 'real' songs I composed way back in 2014/15. I didn't have good equipment or skills so the various recordings I did were quite bad but everyone has to start somewhere! I finally decided to transpose it to 7 string drop G# and slightly change it up.

This track was composed for Crunch. I implemented a system which causes the music to stop on the start of a bar when the game ends, and seamlessly transition. I feel that the composition reflects the pacing of the game fairly well.

Game Jams

GMTK 2021 Game Jam

Full Health
00:00 / 00:13
Low Health
00:00 / 00:13

I took part in the GMTK 2021 Game Jam with two friends. My role was the sound designer and composer. We opted for a simple 2D retro game. To keep things simple, I created a basic OST which loops and adapts based on the player's health. Brian & Me can be found here.

Clothsequences Game Jam Themes

Sustainable Melody
00:00 / 00:30
Unsustainable Melody
00:00 / 00:32

Clothesequences was a 36-hour sustainability game jam hosted by NTU & Confetti with a team size of five. I was tasked with sound design and composition. Duue to time constraints, I opted to focus on the music and subsequently created two looping melodies, each adapting to the scenario and progressively adding more layers. The songs above are the final/fully layered versions which would be played during the last level relative to the previous decisions of the player. "The music was awesome, created a beautiful ambience for the game" - Katalin Butt-Bethlendy, NTU Green Academy.

Demos/Work In Progress

WIP orchestral track I made after listening to various Fromsoft games' OSTs. Wanted to do something a little out of my comfort zone.

Sea Beams

Little synth piece inspired by Blade Runner that I made for my final year 3D environment render video. Processed with my R2R tape deck and LOTS of saturation (no such thing as too much!)

Song 4 Piano Riff

7 string piece which I wrote for my dissertation practical. In the context of the dissertation, the song would exponentially increase in tempo and any effects on performance were measured.
